The Mainstream Sellout Tour consists of a headlining performance by Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and several featured guests, such as Travis Barker, Avil Lavigne, Black Bear Iann Dior, WILLOW, Trippe Red, PVRIS, and 44Phantom. Singer and rapper MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, released his latest album, Mainstream Sellout, in March 2022. The album featured hit singles, “Emo Girl,” “Papercuts,” and “Maybe.” The record is MGK’s second pop-punk effort after transitioning from his hip-hop roots for its predecessor, Tickets to My Downfall. Upon its release, Mainstream Sellout peaked at number 1 on the Billboard 200, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts. Moreover, the album also entered the charts in more than 20 other countries.
The drum tracks in Mainstream Sellout were performed by Travis Barker, while some tracks are collaborations with guest artists, including the metal band Bring Me the Horizon for “Maybe,” WILLOW for “Emo Girl,” and Lil Wayne for “Drug Dealer.” The album also features Young Thug, Blackbear, and Iann Dior. Moreover, comedian Pete Davison co-wrote the track “Wall of Fame,” while Josh Strock from the punk band White Noise co-wrote “Sid and Nancy.”
